My goal is to instill a love of classical ballet and classical music through a positive, productive, and professional atmosphere. My hope is that children will gain confidence, make friends, and develop poise through both personal expression and proper technique while allowing them time to be children. My program includes performance and service opportunities. In December, we will perform at a nursing home, and in May, we will put on a recital free to family and friends.
Mrs. Erica has been dancing since the age of 3. She primarily studied with Ballet Etudes and was a company member there for many years where she had the opportunity to perform roles such as Clara in the Nutcracker. Through Ballet Etudes, she also performed with Ballet West and with Pacific Northwest Ballet's "Sleeping Beauty."
Erica went on to dance on Mountain View High School's Pom line where they were 3 time State Champions. She has also danced and acted many years in the Mesa Easter Pagaent as a Ten Virgin, Mary Magdeline's friend, and the female narrator. At BYU, she competed in ballroom dance and continued her study of ballet and contemporary dance.
She has been teaching professionally for 15 years and thoroughly enjoys filling her days twirling with little tutu'd tinies.
